Born and raised in Victoria, BC, I have used my artistic talent since youth. It has only been in the last few years that my creative journey has become clearer. Artists often say that their work is a representation of themselves. And while I wholeheartedly agree with that sentiment, I also feel that art encompasses more than just an individual. It involves the entire breadth of life and what it is that we hope to achieve in it. Art emits a sense of flowing directions. The eye will travel in a painting just as the mind and body do throughout life – seeking out the story behind the canvas.

My own story has been influenced by many experiences, including my world travels and personal relationships with those around me. Both which have guided my vision and have enabled me to develop the style I’ve been dedicated to perfecting these last few years. Working mostly on acrylic on canvas, I paint with an abstract style that evokes a sense of whimsy and mystery that reveals my captivation with nature. Using a host of vibrant colours and shapes, I equate my pieces more closely to Australian Aboriginal design than to any other genre.
