This is a really stunning piece of fibre art. It was accepted into one of Greater Victoria’s most discerning juried art shows – the Sidney Fine Art Show. It only takes a little bit of light to make the copper fabric glow! This would be perfect in a stairwell, at the end of a hall, or any where that requires a little bit of long narrow excitement!
The centre piece of fabric has been rusted, then stitched, then beads have been added. The top and lower outer portions are a fabulous fabric with a handwriting design as if in copper ink. The side accent fabric is copper lame that picks up and reflects the slightest light. The meandering stitched pattern reminds Judi of neuron pathways! A really, really stunning piece of art.
Mind Mapping comes with a copper rod and chain hanger; you can easily substitute a rod and finial of your choice to match your décor. It is 62” (155 cm) tall and 18” (45 cm) wide.
